Mutual Rescue for Shelters and Nonprofits

Since 2016, Mutual Rescue has been supporting animal shelters with grants, films, and programs that encourage public engagement with local shelters. Our Doggy Day Out toolkit has helped more than 100 shelters start day foster programs that save lives and invite the community to become advocates, volunteers, and donors. Our corporate sponsorships bring new money into the animal-welfare sector. Mutual Rescue directs those funds to where they’re most needed: right to the shelters. We’re changing the way people view companion animals and shelters.

People and Animals

At the heart of everything we do is our core belief that when we help companion animals, we help people, too. Mutual Rescue’s archive of award-winning films is available to approved nonprofit organizations hosting off-line events and fundraisers. Whether you’re with an animal shelter or a human-services organization, we’d love to hear from you.

  • We really appreciate Mutual Rescue and their commitment to helping animals everywhere. Their collaborative approach and willingness to share resources—in our case a grant from a national sponsor—is a wonderful model for the animal-welfare world. Mutual Rescue is advocating for best practices on a national level and saving lives at the local level.”

  • Our partnership with Mutual Rescue has been beneficial to helping homeless and abandoned animals in the Las Vegas community. Their generous grant went to many of our lifesaving programs. This allows us to fulfill our mission and keep pets with their families, where they belong. Thank you, Mutual Rescue, for helping us make a difference.”
